E-ship CrashCourse

This one-hour session is a great introduction for anyone who has considered launching their own startup but has no idea where to begin. It is designed to be a high-level, interactive info session where participants can expect to:
  • Learn the basics of “What is entrepreneurship”
  • Dispel common myths about entrepreneurship
  • Receive actionable steps to build your own startup

Idea TestLab

This 4-week program helps you figure out if you can turn your idea into a viable business. Get help better defining the problem you’re trying to solve, who has it, and what value you can provide to them. Included in the program:
  • Four 2-hour group sessions
  • Access to $500 to help launch your business, if the idea has what it takes
  • 1-on-1 advice from coaches who’ve “been there, done that”

Digital TestLab

The Digital TestLab is a fast-paced program designed to help startups and brands learn how to effectively navigate an ever-changing digital landscape. Participants will explore strategies for building strong customer relationships, creating effective customer funnels, and turning leads into customers. Included in the program:
  • Weekly group sessions and a final pitch event
  • A chance to win funding to attend a conference of the participant's choice
  • Expert coaches providing feedback and actionable changes

MVP DevLab

MVP DevLab is designed to support entrepreneurs in the crucial phase between the idea and the business creation stage. Participants receive resources and guidance to develop their Minimum Viable Products (MVP) and progress towards successful startup launches. Included in the program:
  • Monthly group meetings
  • One 1-on-1 mentoring session a month
  • Potential for up to $1000 to support the development of prototypes
  • Access to 100+ advisors and experts
  • 1-yr subscription to SolidWorks and POWr.io plug-ins
  • 24x7 access to LaunchBox with space in our team room
Key Dates:
  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis
  • Group meetings occur the first Monday of the month from 3–5 pm

FastTrack Accelerator

This 10-week program helps you avoid common startup mistakes, build an actionable plan, test the market quickly with “smokescreens,” and launch your business. Included in the program:
  • 1-on-1 expert mentoring
  • Potential for up to $1000 in startup funding
  • Access to funding to test the market via the Market TestFund
  • Access to 100+ advisors and experts
  • Funding for intern for one semester through the School of Engineering Design and Innovation (SEDI) ENtern program
  • 1-year subscription to SOLIDWORKS and POWr.io plug-ins
  • 1 year of 24×7 access to LaunchBox with space in our team room

This 13-week program is available to startups with at least one current student founder. Teams work full-time on their ventures over the summer here in State College.
  • $15K grant

  • Funding for intern for one semester
